Are you struggling on a daily basis to get everything checked off on your to-do list? You’re always busy, but feel like nothing is getting done?

LOOKS AT LONG UN-CHECKED TO-DO LIST ... YES!

As veteran administrative assistants designed to keep your business at maximum efficiency, we consider ourselves experts on this.

There’s a difference between being busy and being productive. Busy people are frantic and always distracted. They are constantly jumping from task to task. This gives the illusion of being busy but nothing is actually getting accomplished.

Productive people are less stressed and actually get more done. Here’s our best advice on what you should be doing in the first 15 minutes after you sit down at your desk to set yourself up for a productive day.

  1. Hydrate: Drink 8oz of warm water when you first wake up;
  2. Stretch: Do some light stretching to get your blood flowing;
  3. Meditate for 10 minutes;
  4. Write your to-do list in your calendar;
  5. Schedule breaks in your calendar;
  6. Complete a task before you check your email;
  7. Set a timer: this ensures you don't get sucked into a task for too long.

By doing these seven things every morning, you’ll take charge of your day. More things will get done in less time and you’ll be less stressed.

If you still feel like you’re spinning your wheels, book a complimentary call and we’d be happy to discuss your needs and where we can step in to help.
